Our commitment to accessibility
At Montgomery Group, we are committed to creating digital experiences that are inclusive and accessible to everyone.
Our purpose is to serve our world, nurture relationships and develop opportunities. This commitment extends to our websites, where we aim to ensure that all users, regardless of ability or technology, can access information, engage with our content, and interact with us effectively.
Accessibility is not a one-off task. It is an ongoing responsibility and an important part of how we act ethically, collaborate openly and empower others.
Accessibility standards
We aim to make our websites accessible in line with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, targeting Level AA compliance wherever reasonably possible.
These guidelines help ensure content is:
- Perceivable
- Operable
- Understandable
- Robust
Current level of accessibility
We recognise that our websites are at different stages of accessibility maturity.
We have taken steps to improve accessibility and are actively working to identify and address areas where improvements are needed. Some parts of our websites may not yet fully meet WCAG 2.2 AA standards, but we are committed to continuous improvement.
What we are doing to improve accessibility
Our ongoing work includes:
- Reviewing website structure and navigation to support keyboard and screen reader users
- Improving colour contrast and text readability
- Adding alternative text to meaningful images
- Ensuring clear headings and consistent page layouts
- Reviewing video and media content for captions and transcripts where appropriate
Accessibility considerations are increasingly being embedded into how we design, build and maintain our digital platforms.
