Sam Morgan
Sam Morgan is the CEO of the Open Restaurant Group (ORG) which has seven restaurants across England and Wales. He is experience businessman; however, he began his career with Her Majesty’s Service in 1999, holding many pivotal law enforcement roles across a range of disciplines. In 2009, Sam left the service to pursue a career overseeing the protection of high-profile and celebrity clients.
After three successful years, Sam moved into white collar professional services, specialising in mergers and acquisitions of education businesses, and with this experience founded an outsourced education finance and legal consultancy firm. In 2019, Sam, his wife Emma, moved into hospitality, bringing Andrew Sheridan on board as business partner and executive chef. Together they opened their first restaurant 10 weeks before the pandemic. They have spent the last few years growing their business portfolio and adjusting to the challenges of the hospitality business.
