Another chef who was unshakeable in her belief that a career in a kitchen was for her from an early age. Ruth Hansom has worked in several high-profile kitchens and also trained with John Williams MBE at the Ritz for three years. In 2024, returning to her native North-East, Ruth opened her first restaurant under her own name in Darlington.
