Rudina Arapi
Rudina Arapi’s wine journey began in Florence in 2004 after completing her studies. She spent five years at the Michelin-starred restaurant Paolo Teverini, developing a passion for wine. In 2010, she won Best Sommelier of Florence and competed in the semi-finals of the Best Sommelier of the World competition.
In 2012, Rudina moved to London and joined the Michelin-starred Galvin at Windows restaurant at the London Hilton on Park Lane in Mayfair. Over 12 years, she rose from commis to Head Sommelier. She was shortlisted for Sommelier of the Year at the 2020 Cateys Awards and was named The Uncorking Your Wine Potential Champion for Hilton Hotels EMEA in 2021. In 2022, she reached the final of the Taittinger Best UK Sommelier competition. In May 2024, Rudina was appointed Wine Director for London Hilton on Park Lane, where she is leading the WSET Level 1 and 2 qualification across Hilton properties in the EMEA region. Outside of wine, Rudina enjoys yoga, cycling, and reading. She is happiest surrounded by her friends and family with a good bottle of wine.
