Petty Elliot
Petty Elliott is a renowned Indonesian cookbook author, chef, and consultant based in the UK. As an Indonesian food ambassador in her own way, she celebrates the unity and diversity of Indonesian food culture by blending traditional flavours with ingredients readily available in the UK. She has played a pivotal role in showcasing Indonesia’s rich culinary heritage on the global stage. Her book, The Indonesian Table, was published by Phaidon in 2023.
Petty frequently travels for her work as a consultant and guest chef at leading hotels and resorts such as Nihi and Aman in Indonesia, as well as Soneva Kiri in Thailand. She has also collaborated with chefs in London for special Indonesian dinners. Her work has been featured in prominent UK media outlets, including The Guardian, Condé Nast Traveller, Waitrose, Delicious, BBC Food, and National Geographic Food & Travel, among many other international platforms.
