Mursal Saiq
Mursal Saiq is a British-Afghan pitmaster, live-fire chef, restaurateur and hospitality consultant, recognised as one of London’s leading chefs and an important voice shaping inclusive, culturally expressive hospitality in the UK. She is the co-founder of Cue Point London, an award-winning live-fire restaurant and events concept known for bold barbecue and culturally driven storytelling through food, music and design.
Her cooking draws on American barbecue techniques, British hospitality training and her Afghan heritage. Mursal’s work sits at the intersection of food, culture and social impact, creating dining experiences that centre community, representation and multicultural narratives. Her career spans restaurants, festivals and residencies across the UK and internationally, including collaborations in Brazil, Dallas, Ireland and the Caribbean. She also leads Cue Point Kitchen, the consultancy and CSR arm of Cue Point, focused on creating sustainable careers and ownership pathways for immigrants and underrepresented communities in hospitality.
Mursal is also the founder of Kabul Nights Global, a touring dining and cultural series celebrating Afghan storytelling through food, music and fire.
