Ian Simpson is a highly accomplished chef and culinary entrepreneur, currently running a private dining company in Piemonte, Italy. His company offers a range of bespoke dining experiences, from intimate gatherings to multi-day wedding celebrations.
With a career spanning prestigious kitchens across Europe, Ian was Chef Patron at Osteria Odette in Nizza Monferrato and previously Head Chef at La Villa Hotel in Mombaruzzo. He played a key role in launching Bovino at Quinta do Lago, a five-star golf resort in Portugal, and served as Head Chef for Albert Roux at Rocpool Reserve in Inverness. Earlier in his career, he gained experience at renowned establishments such as Gordon Ramsay at Claridge’s and The George of Stamford.
Ian's expertise has earned him numerous accolades, including Tilda Chef of the Year 2014, the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health’s Best UK Senior Chef award, and a prestigious Medaille d’Or at the Scottish Hotel Awards.
