Denis leads The Taste Lab, bringing a career shaped by world-class kitchens. He began at City Bakery, then honed classical pastry and innovation under Raymond Blanc and Benoit Blin at Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons. Denis later became Head Pastry Chef at Pennyhill Park, earning acclaim for technical excellence and contemporary style. A dedicated mentor, he coaches Team UK for the Coupe du Monde de la Pâtisserie, leading them to the European Cup in 2022 and fourth place at the 2023 World Cup. As a judge, educator, and innovator, Denis inspires the next generation of pastry chefs through hands-on training and research, blending precision, creativity, and the artistry of pâtisserie at The Taste Lab.
