Cherish Finden
Cherish Finden is widely regarded as one of Britain’s most formidable pastry chefs — a perfectionist whose artistry, precision and uncompromising standards have helped redefine luxury pâtisserie in the UK. Born in Singapore, she began her culinary journey at a young age, training in some of Asia’s most demanding hotel kitchens before moving to London to establish an international career.
Cherish first rose to prominence as Executive Pastry Chef at the five-star Langham Hotel, where her intricate desserts and show-stopping chocolate displays earned multiple awards and a reputation for technical brilliance. Her work blends classical French technique with contemporary design and subtle Asian influences, producing creations that are as visually striking as they are refined in flavour.
To a wider audience, she is best known as a judge on Bake Off: The Professionals, where her exacting eye, razor-sharp palate and insistence on excellence have made her both respected and feared by contestants.
