HRC partners with Foodservice Consultants Society International for 2027

HRC, part of Food, Drink & Hospitality Week, has announced a partnership with the Foodservice Consultants Society International (FCSI) UK & Ireland for its 2027 edition, taking place on 5-7 April at Excel London.

The partnership will bring together HRC’s community of hospitality operators, suppliers and buyers with FCSI’s network of independent foodservice consultants, highlighting the expertise behind successful hospitality projects and operations.

FCSI UK & Ireland’s members provide independent advice across foodservice design and management, supporting businesses with everything from kitchen planning and equipment specification to operational reviews, foodservice strategy and project management. Their work spans hotels, restaurants, workplaces, healthcare and education.

The partnership will highlight the role of independent consultancy in helping operators assess their options and make informed investment decisions, while strengthening connections between consultants, manufacturers and the hospitality businesses they support.

Jo Farish, Event Manager for HRC, says: “The best hospitality projects start with a clear understanding of how a business needs to work, from the flow of a kitchen to the equipment supporting its team. FCSI members bring that practical insight, helping operators make decisions that will serve them well for years to come.

“We’re delighted to partner with FCSI UK & Ireland for HRC 2027, bringing consultants, suppliers and operators together to share ideas and build relationships. Their expertise will be a valuable addition to the conversations taking place at the show.”

Julian Edwards, FCSI UK&I and EAME Chair, adds: “Our members work closely with hospitality businesses to turn their ambitions into practical, effective foodservice operations. That involves understanding each client’s needs and bringing independent expertise to decisions about design, equipment and how teams work.

“Partnering with HRC offers a valuable opportunity to build awareness of that expertise and connect with operators and suppliers from across the industry. We look forward to exchanging ideas, developing relationships and demonstrating the contribution foodservice consultants can make to projects of every scale.”

HRC will bring hospitality professionals together to discover products, meet suppliers and exchange ideas across food, drink, catering equipment, furniture, interiors, tableware and business services.

Taking place alongside IFE, IFE Manufacturing, The Pub Show, Hospitality Tech360, Speciality & Fine Food Fair and International Salon Culinaire, HRC forms part of Food, Drink & Hospitality Week, offering visitors access to expertise and innovation across the wider food, drink and hospitality sectors.
