laBalocchina is a young Italian agrifood project created to enhance premium Italian rice through a contemporary, design driven and responsible approach.

We cultivate and process our rice exclusively in Piedmont, between the provinces of Biella and Vercelli, an area internationally recognised for the superior quality of its rice varieties and ideal pedoclimatic conditions.

Our range includes high quality rice and ready to cook risottos, presented in innovative, refillable and sustainable packaging, designed to stand out both on retail shelves and in modern kitchens.
Our iconic glass jar with a cardboard dosing cap has become a symbol of our commitment to functionality, waste reduction and everyday usability, combining aesthetics with practicality.

We believe in short supply chains, artisanal processing and a fresh, contemporary communication style, with the aim of making rice a desirable, distinctive and central product rather than a commodity.

Our collections are currently distributed through gourmet stores, delicatessens and concept stores, with a growing focus on the B2B channel.
