167 Regiment RLC is a nationally recruited Army Reserve regiment. One of our missions is to provide trained Chefs, capable of fully integrating into any Defence formation to deliver catering support in order to enable operational success. We are looking to recruit individuals that have an interest in cooking as well as trade professionals. We will provide full military and Chef training using our Operational Field Catering System. Further to this, we have a raft of other trades available. If you join us, you'll get an excellent financial package that includes holiday pay, a tax free Bounty that rises to over £2,200 after 5 years, you're paid for every day you train and you'll start earning a non contributory pension.
As a national unit, attendance is flexible, however, we offer many week long training concentrations where Bounty qualification can be completed in short blocks. Food and accommodation whilst conducting training is heavily subsidised and 3 good meals will cost less than £10 per day.
