Vita Whitaker is CEO and Commercial Director for the award-winning WhitCo Catering and Bakery Equipment Ltd, a successful and entrepreneurial catering equipment distributor and design house based in Northampton. At WhitCo the focus is on providing end-to-end solutions for both back and front of house, and with 28yrs experience at WhitCo Vita is supremely well equipped to advise on the issues of form versus function in restaurant design.

Vita set up Jeff's Way CIC Limited that raises funds to place young chefs into Stages at some of the UKs well known Michelin star restaurants giving them an opportunity they may never get, the support to grow their experience and their confidence further and to keep them invested in this career, to be the best chef! The Jeff's Way alumni can contact WhitCo at any time for help and advice, and are all enrolled into the Craft Guild of Chefs.

In 2023 Vita became a Council Member of the Foodservice Equipment Association (FEA), was formerly a Director of the Catering Equipment Distributors Association (CEDA) for 5 years, and was a Director of Hope Enterprise, a charity providing training to local homeless and disadvantaged people.

Vita has a Masters Degree in International Hospitality Design and Management Consultancy gained with Sheffield Hallam University.
