Martin Shaw is Market Unit Manager UK & Ireland at Elopak, a leading global supplier of gable top cartons for food and drinks. With a focus on offering packaging solutions with less plastic, renewable material and a low carbon footprint, the company has sustainability at its core. Over his 30 years’ industry experience, Martin has gathered a vast knowledge and expertise of beverage cartons. His key objective today is to build partnerships with Retailers, Brand Owners and Manufacturers who want to reduce their climate impact. Martin’s engineering background and direct experience as a technical manager also mean he is perfectly placed to understand and support manufacturers with their production issues. Martin serves on the Board of Directors for ACE, the Alliance for Beverage Cartons and the Environment which delivers environmental initiatives in the UK and Ireland on behalf of its members and also runs its own dedicated food and drink carton recycling facility.
