After a successful career in airline catering, Heerum founded TickEat in 2015. With over 10 years of experience organising events and services across the travel and leisure sectors, Heerum identified a clear need to bring key industry experts together to share the essential knowledge brands need to successfully enter the travel sector.

With more than 20 years’ experience as an F&B foodservice buyer and over 15 years dedicated to the travel sector, Heerum brings deep industry insight and a strong passion for educating and empowering suppliers. This is reflected across all initiatives within the TickEat Group, which are designed to simplify the travel channel and support supplier growth. In 2025, Heerum launched Navigate The Travel Forum, a collaborative platform that brings together an expert committee to advise on future trends, innovation, and best practice. With sustainability at its core, the forum helps shape the next generation of supplier innovation within the travel industry.
