Following a career in the City Gavin became a self-employed consultant in 2011. Building on his sustainability knowledge acquired during his corporate experiences Gavin helped a number of clients with sustainability strategies and assisting them with sustainability elements of public sector procurements. The range of sustainability services requested by clients has continued to expand. During the pandemic after reflecting upon the increasing need for sustainability advice over an increasing diverse range of subjects and sectors Gavin incorporated Sustainability UK. Sustainology UK advises organisations on materiality assessments, carbon footprints, ESG, sustainability strategies and sustainability compliance and reporting. Clients range from small and medium sized companies to multinationals. Gavin is a qualified GRI Sustainability Professional and is also a qualified Chartered Accountant.
