  • Access Hospitality Launch free 'Getting Operational' Guide

    Technology provider, Access Hospitality, have launched a new free guide created to help hospitality operators get their venues operational for when they reopen post lockdown. The guide includes timelines and a detailed checklist that is broken down into key areas including staff health and safety, staff planning, guest experience, financial management and cashflow.
  • Brakes Create Themed Care Home Menus

    With an aim to boost morale and wellbeing of residents and staff, wholesale food supplier, Brakes Foodservice are launching a series of themed care home menus and events. By offering something new during this difficult time they hope to improve spirits within the care home and give residents and employees something to look forward to. The menus with include American, French and Indian and their first themed event will centre around National Cupcake Day on the 18th of June which is also a fundraising event to raise money for the Alzheimer's Society.
  • Michelin-Starred Chef Duo Launch ASAP Pizza

    The team behind Michelin-Starred Lyle’s and Borough Market Wine Bar and bakery Flor, James Lowe & John Ogier are launching a new venture this month, a takeaway pizza service – ASAP Pizza. By shifting from their original plans to open a pizza led restaurant they will instead provide Londoners with customisable New York style pizza using homegrown produce from across the UK, delivered to their homes or through a click and collect service. The team also plan to launch pizza kits so consumers outside of London can enjoy a slice of the action. 
  • The Sustainable Restaurant Association Launch Webinar Series

    The Sustainable Restaurant Association (SRA) have launched their own webinar series to continue to support the hospitality and foodservice industry to re-open right. Their first webinar 'Dining at a Distance: Reshaping your restaurant with social distancing in mind' takes place this Thursday at 11am. Tune in to hear expert advice from restaurant operators and designers who are leading the way during lockdown.
  • Data Management – Your Responsibilities Explained

    The Foodservice Equipment Association (FEA) are running a free webinar 'Data Management - Your Responsibilities Explained' on Friday at 2pm. The session lead by Data Management expert Carl Kruger, Director of Qualitation, will cover business obligations and responsibilities relating to customer data and connected appliances. The session is limited to 100 places only, so secure your place in advance so you don't miss out!

    Chef Adam Handling has created his own home delivery service 'Hame' the Scottish word for 'Home', to provide customers with the chance to enjoy a taste of his restaurant experience from the comfort and safety of their own home. The dishes are sent prepared with recipe cards to explain how to add the finishing touches to the meal.

    HRC Partner, The Northern Food Fest have created a brand new virtual event for 2020 to support and showcase Northern producers, distributors and some of the great Chefs within the region in these difficult times. The online event will take place this weekend and feature masterclasses and virtual 'tents' with suppliers showcasing their produce.
