Haacht is the third largest brewer in Belgium, 100% Belgian, family owned and independent. Haacht has been brewing beer in the small town of Haacht, in the Flanders region of Belgium since 1898 and was one of the first Western European breweries to brew a Pilsner style beer. This pilsner was named Primus and is still made to the same recipe and high standards as when is was first brewed in the 1920's. Today, Haacht produces a broad range of multi award winning beers that are savoured, respected and appreciated across Europe, North America and the Far East. Most recently, Primus won gold in the 2021 International Beer Challenge, with Super 8 IPA and Tongerlo Blonde receiving silver and Super 8 Flandrien receiving a Bronze.
